1. Total paymentHow much is due now and on move-in? Record the deposit, advance rent and any pet deposit separately.
2. Monthly costsWhich common fees, internet, pool and garden care are included? How are water and electricity billed?
3. Pets and useConfirm permission for your specific pets and any restrictions on smoking, subletting or business use in writing.
4. RepairsAgree who arranges air-conditioning service, appliance repairs and routine maintenance.
5. HandoverPhotograph existing damage, test appliances, note meter readings and sign a furniture inventory.
6. End of leaseRead the notice period, early-departure terms, cleaning obligations and deposit return conditions.
